About the Role

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently looking for a driven and accomplished Engineering professional to join our team as an EHS and Facilities Engineer. In this role, you will be in charge of implementing EHS standards, programs, engagement, and improvement activities based on Corporate EHS and site leadership directions while adhering to local government regulations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining top-notch facilities and assets, ensuring their seamless operation, and upholding our commitment to creating a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of EHS standards, programs, effective strategies, employee engagement, and initiatives for continuous improvement, following guidance from Corporate EHS and site leadership, while adhering to LGU regulations.Lead the asset management programs, monitoring, and reporting of all company assets.Lead the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure that equipment and systems remain in good working order e.g. Critical Systems, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary.Maintain EHS documentations required under the EHS management system e.g. accident/incident records, chemical inventories, licenses and permits, MSDS, etc.Work with the building administration and contractors to ensure that new buildings or renovations are designed to meet the needs of the facility.Respond to emergencies, such as power outages or plumbing leaks, maintenance-related issues, and preventive maintenance.Manage budgets and resources to ensure that maintenance and repair activities are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in implementing EHS standards and programs.Strong knowledge of asset management and preventative maintenance practices.Excellent understanding of local government regulations and compliance requirements.Proficient in maintaining EHS documentation.Ability to effectively collaborate with building administration, contractors, and other individuals involved in the project.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
