About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior/Principal EHS Consultant (Seller/Doer) who is ready to play a key role in expanding our Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) consulting business. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional who thrives on business development, client engagement, and delivering exceptional EHS solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record in EHS consulting sales, an established network in Southern California or Arizona, and a passion for building client relationships. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and drive sales efforts for new and existing clients
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, maintain sales plans, and manage pipeline forecasts
Generate leads, coordinate meetings and proposals, and follow up to close deals
Maintain and leverage our CRM to track leads and monitor performance
Prepare compelling proposals, including accurate scope and pricing, and manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction
Build visibility through active involvement in life science industry events and organizations
Manage and lead EHS&S projects, serve as a Client Steward (Account Manager) for key accounts
Be recognized internally and externally as a leader due to your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and insight into the competitive landscape
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related or business field preferred; MS or MBA is a plus
7+ years of experience in EHS sales/business development, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
Proven success in developing and maintaining client relationships
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
Highly motivated, results-driven, and energetic
Demonstrated initiative in business development and client service
Confident in delivering senior-level presentations and negotiations
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

The base annual salary for this position can range from $120,000 to $160,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
