Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform gap analysis review on safety and environmental updates to ensure the site facility complies to applicable legislations / regulatory requirements as well as Baxter's safety policies and goals.Provide technical expertise to stakeholders on Singapore Safety and Environmental Regulations to ensure implementation is aligned with compliance.Establish mechanisms and processes to monitor and control safety and environmental programs.Conduct safety & environmental incident investigation to determine root causes to prevent recurrence.Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs.Analyze safety injury/illness & environmental incidents and initiate actions to improve safety programs.Endorsing as approver/reviewer for permit to work system.Implement and coordinate safety and environmental procedures, programs and projects.Support and drive safety & environmental programs, regular inspections, audits, trainings to achieve performance targets.Create and sustain a high level of safety & environmental awareness, interest and participation in programs.Involve in global audits and spearhead in driving for closure on outstanding findings.Prepare and submit safety & environmental reports to Baxter Internal System and regulatory bodies (MOM, NEA, PUB etc.)Assists in managing waste generation, energy and water usage as well as to prevent/reduce pollution. Assists in monitoring and ensure all forms of emission (air emission, wastewater, toxic industrial waste, packaging waste etc.) are in compliance.Assist in collecting and analysing data related to wastewater and coordinate with Takeda on wastewater treatment plant matters.Assist in implementation of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 and maintenance of certifications.Liaise with government agencies on environmental & safety compliance mattersTo support and perform any other safety & environmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Education:

Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Occupational Health and Safety /  Chemical Process Technology or equivalent5 years Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) related working experiencesRegistered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and Certified Fire Safety Manager

Skill Set and/or Experience:

Fresh Degree/ Diploma with Min 3 years orDegree with Min 3 years/ Diploma with Min 6 years of relevant experience[For Senior position] Degree with Min 8 years / Diploma with Min 10 years of relevant experienceExperience in Environmental Health and Safety Management Systems (e.g. ISO 14001 or ISO 45001)[For Environmental] Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant Process.
