Primary Purpose of the Position
The EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Engineer will provide leadership, influence, coaching, advice and technical expertise at every level of the LTT (Lab Tire Testing) organization in the management of EHS activities. LTT is a multi-site (Luxembourg and Montlucon) and highly flexible organization operating large various different equipment.

Have a master’s degree in industrial engineering. Speak fluent French and English. Experience within an industrial engineering environment is highly desirable. Be located in a commutable distance to Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. Have a valid driving license.
The Primary Purpose of the EHS Engineer is:
Coach and influence leadership to implement Global EHS strategy onsite, adapting LTT specificities (equipment, culture, risks etc) by proposing annual action plan, KPI. Implement, maintain and audit all EHS programs (PEC, SI, ...), ensuring a proper ownership, accountability and sustainability for each of them. Partner with operations to keep professional and environmental risks under an acceptable level through risk assessment, equipment upgrade project, training, organizational change etc. (Act as Travailleur Designe for LTT Luxembourg). Partner with GIR Program Manager / TPL for the implementation of novel test processes equipment or new equipment for product development purpose by leading project EHS workstream (work permit, MOC, risk assessment and risk reduction, compliance to standard and regulation, ...) Investigate all incidents (accidents, near misses, ...) with appropriate stakeholders, coordinate countermeasures and implement preventive measures from other sites lessons learnt. Follow up applicable regulation, inform all stakeholders accordingly and team with them to propose action plan to ensure compliance of operations and infrastructure Role and Responsibilities: Develop and adapt overall Global Technology EHS Strategy to LTT specificities. Propose and influence leadership to integrate EHS objectives in LTT management review. Follow up and communicate to all level of organization EHS performance. Constant communication with peers in Global Technology and/or manufacturing plant, to ensure alignement, best practices and/or recurrent issues sharing, incident reports Ensure all activities are documented with correct Job Risk Assessment (JRA), Ergonomics Assessments, Chemical Assessments with the operations. Facilitate, coach and train associates to identify and report proactively risks. Support the contractor’s management by assessing relevant criteria and method assessment. Act as a technical expert on EHS matters for all projects or change happening onsite (Occupational Health, Machinery, Ergonomics, Chemical Management, etc). Support the Management of Change process. Propose technical solutions, lead or actively participate in continous improvement projects. Identify and maintain environmental impact assessments. Set up appropriate prevention methods or escalate concerns. Implement, document and coordinate appropriate EHS programs onsite according to site risks and requirements (internal and external). (ie : Laser protection, Chemical Management, Isolation and Control of Hazardeous Energy (ICHE), Work at Height, Contractor management, Waste segregation etc). Ensure correct incidents recordkeeping, and lead organization to investigate and prevent from further occurence all incidents. Periodically assess and audit EHS programs. Drive safety culture to increase ownership and engagement at every level of the LTT organization and all partners (Global Technology Integration, Global Material Science, Product development for the 3 regions). Coordinate and give when appropriate trainings and awareness to both operators and leadership. Coach Top and Middle management to set up efficient Safety leadership. Facilitate Safety walks to ensure transparent communication between operators and leadership. Ensure timely and relevant communication with authorities (ITM, AAA, AEV), including legal reports, emergency notifications, permit requests, etc. Identify all EHS related regulations applicable to operations and/or infrastructures and inform all stakholders accordingly. compliance regulatory watch Propose action plan to drive compliance to new legal requirements. Organize regularly legal audits and follow up on findings.

English and French are a must. Good knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an asset. Travailleur Designé Groupe C. Strong EHS technical knowledge on one of the following: Machine safety, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics. Strong communication, capability to explain and teach complex concepts.
