We are looking for a highly skilled EHS Engineer to join our dynamic team at Laird Vietnam in Bac Ninh . This position is responsible for implementing environment and safety policies, conducting assessments, delivering training, investigating accidents, promoting sustainability efforts, and staying up-to-date on regulations. The Maintenance Engineer will also analyze performance metrics and lead emergency response efforts to ensure optimal equipment performance and enhance industrial operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Provides EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidance to the site for implementing EHS programs and work processes.

Collaborates with corporate fire safety and occupational hygiene resources to implement policies and procedures that comply with fire safety and occupational hygiene laws, regulations, and standards.

Develops and implements a site auditing program, conducts incident investigations, and oversees the EHS annual review.

Analyzes and evaluates EHS performance to establish improvement goals and plans.

Ensures that corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives are met.

Provides training and guidance to promote a safe work culture.

Assists with ISO 14001 certification, RBA, and develops procedures to reduce the risk of injury or damage.

Maintains EHS management documents, supports injury and illness case management, manages regulatory reporting, and networks with other EHS professionals to shape best practices and standards.

Reports to the EHS Lead.

Education & Experience

Required:

1. Education Background: Graduated from university with a degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health. Degrees in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering are also considered.

2. Required Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Knowledgeable in RBA, fire safety, and occupational hygiene. Knowledge of electrical safety is an advantage.

Strong understanding of Vietnamese EHS regulations and standards, with experience working with local authorities.

3. Proficiency in English Communication: Good oral and written communication skills in English.

4. Other Skills:

Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a results-oriented mindset, along with good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
