Position Title: EHS Intern
Location: Mindelo, Portugal
Position Overview
Support activities and development of tasks within the EHS department responsibility.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the the implementation of Environment, Health and Safety best practices, procedures and needs that may occur.
Verification of safety conditions, shopfloor audits.
Management of EHS contractor documentation.
Chemicals approve and manage the information as well as requirements from MSDS of chemicals use in production.
Collaboration in the development of an Integrated Management System regarding ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Minimum Requirements
Official certificate of Technician in Occupational Health and Safety. Master’s degree in occupational health and safety will be a plus.
Environmental Degree completed will be also a plus.
Strong desire and innate capability to learn and grow.
Skills: strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills .
It’s a plus any training specific to the role required.
Demonstrates proficiency in individually accountable for results focuses on work effort.
Preferred Requirements
Good skills with Microsoft tools.
Good level of written and spoken English
