EHS Leader

We are currently looking for a EHS Leader to join us at our facility in Cerkezkoy (Turkey).

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide expert guidance on EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) practices to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.Manage and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements for site operations.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of EHS performance, both internally and externally.Develop, implement, and update essential EHS procedures for the site and its area of influence.Conduct task risk assessments and ensure proper documentation for all site activities.Create and deliver EHS training programs, including inductions and focused sessions for employees and contractors.Lead internal EHS audits and coordinate external audits, managing follow-ups and corrective actions.Manage the site's Emergency Response Plan, ensuring regular updates, training, and live drills.Oversee occupational health programs, including medical testing, ergonomic assessments, and noise/dust monitoring.Participate in incident investigations, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions.Administer EHS metrics, KPIs, and sustainability reporting in alignment with corporate goals.Support Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, including risk assessments, plant modifications, and ATEX compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

7–10 years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing, including incident investigation and management systems like ISO 45001 or RC14001.Proven expertise in developing EHS procedures, conducting audits, and delivering training across all organizational levels.Strong knowledge of country-specific EHS regulations, process safety basics, and cause analysis methodologies.Competency in process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma Green Belt, project management, and cost efficiency.Leadership experience in team building, performance monitoring, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Strong customer focus, ownership mindset, and ability to deliver results with accountability and adaptability.Embraces change, fosters collaboration, and builds capacity through effective team engagement and problem-solving.

Education:

A class occupational safety specialist RequiredEnglish: fluent (Spoken and written). Required.Not required but preferred: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, NEBOSHEngineering background is preferred.
