TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

 

Job overview:

Managing Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) according to local compliance at TE Connectivity's Kuřim plant Implement EHS initiatives and activities as assigned by the Site Manager Regularly review site EHS goals, performance and requirements and support to achieve them Promote the EHS culture through the company by providing trainings Cooperation with other departments in preparation of working instructions and instruction for the hazardous substances handling, waste and water management and emergency response plans Implementation, development and maintaining the EMS in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 including but not limited to: permit procedure, waste management, waste water management, emission/ emission control, soil protection and remediation, water, energy and materials management, management of hazardous substances and dangerous goods, emergency response and preparedness Preparation and participation on EHS inspections, internal and external audits Tracking of corrective actions following from audits, inspections and incident investigations Prepare the EHS reports according to legal and cooperate requirements (monthly, annual and quarterly reports, the management review) Completing special assignments with the regional EHS Manager to support overall company or Automotive Business Unit initiative. Contact and cooperation with local authorities and external consultants

 

Ideal experience for this position:

University degree ideally in Health and Safety, Environmetal protection or Technical field Several years of professional experience in EHS area, ideally as an EHS Manager in production bussines Knowledge of BOZP and PO Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Fluency in Czech and English Hands-on and communicative personality Ability to lead and couch people
