Your Role:

Lead the development, implementation, and sustainability of Process Safety Management (PSM) across the ISCO Global Plant Operations to ensure company/regulatory best practices and procedures are understood, implemented, and incorporated into operating discipline.​Define the goals, objectives, and implementation strategy​​.Establish process hazard heatmap and plan for risk reduction, identification of critical areas for improvement​​.Assess state of process safety culture and develop plans for continual improvement.​Develops and maintains metrics (KPIs) for PSM work processes and documents PSM programs to demonstrate compliance with internal and external requirements. Collect, monitor, and analyze trends in Process Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to proactively address deviations.​Coordinate, and drive the activities of the PSM Center of Excellence (CoE) team​s in the different regions​.Ability to liaise with internal company and external consultant PSM support and auditing resources, when required. ​Establish a standardized approach for managing PSM in regulated facilities to ensure consistency and robustness of program across several locations.​Support knowledge on process safety developments and best practices, high-profile process safety risks, improvement initiatives and issues, site PSM implementation and activities to support mechanical integrity.​

 

This role is available for placement at any Life Science site within the US, offering both remote and onsite work options.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related discipline​Working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, demonstrated implementation of them in day-to-day operations​. Minimum of five years of experience in progressive process safety.Minimum of 8 years of experience in the engineering, safety, or manufacturing fieldsCapability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience facilitating and/or participating in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazardous Operability Studies (HAZOPs)​Experience in PSM auditing, auditing methodology, benchmarking, and training​Ability to effectively lead, communicate, and implement program continuous improvement within a large organization​.Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary projects or strategic initiatives impacting the organization​.Strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, team building, problem solving, and training​.
