We are looking for EHS Professional

You’ll make a difference by

Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines, Customer, and organization requirementsImplementation & monitoring of EHS Management System according to International Standards(ISO:14001 & ISO:45001). Implementation of Corporate Systems & Procedures at Project sites including customer requirements (contractual).Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & compliance to legal requirements to establish a real culture of Environment, Health and Safety etc. Provide clear, complete & bindinginstructions, as applicable.Participating in EHS core team meetings in identifying aspects & hazards at the workplace/facilities and establish control measures. Guiding & training site personnel in implementing them. Selection, evaluation & performance monitoring of on-site contractors including a system ofpenalties & incentives.Identify training needs, plan and organize training programs on EHS at different levels andConduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention. Contributes to internal and external EHS audits- plan and conduct EHS audits at the project site & take corrective/ preventive actions promptly.Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective /preventive actionsas approved by core EHS team.Incident/ Accident communication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventive actions to the Project Manager, Project Team, BU EHS Officer and Strategic EHS Officer.Ensure use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required based on nature of work and ensure availability of all safety gadgets in the project sites.Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards in assigned organizations and prepares regular EHS reporting.Coordination with internal & external partners on EHS topic.Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the requirementsWork in partnership with senior and site management to develop and implement strategies,policies and services to increase employee safety & reduce organization risksPrepare and update EHS Legal register.Analyses and reports on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations and recommend changesfor internal standards

Desired Skills:

Degree in Science / Diploma in Engineering with Govt. recognized safety diplomas from Correspondence course of NICMAR, Annamalai University, National and State Productivity)Councils, Other State Technical Education, etc.ii) Any Graduate or diploma holder with 5 years of work experience in full-fledged SHEdepartment of any Public Sector/ Leading Private Sector/ MNC/ with prior approval of employer on a case-to-case basis.Experience- minimum 6 years
