EHS - Site Safety Coordinator

Schedule: Day shift, nights and weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr DOE
Location: North Phoenix, AZ (West of I-17)
Position Type: FT; Duration: 2-3 months

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Performing safety management, audit, and inspection for customer sites to ensure the compliance with government, customers, and all EHS policy, processes, and proceduresAttending regular customer meetings and delivering information between customersParticipating in the incident investigation to find the root cause and corrective actionsDiscussing findings and propose corrective measures with the supervisors and management and check whether these are indeed followed.Executing strategy to assure effective EHS programs to improve employee working safety and reduce workplace risksCommunicating with employees, customers, and vendors for EHS related issuesPromoting safety awareness activityPreparing and reporting the data on EHS performanceExcellent communications skillsAble to provide EHS training and presentationRequirements:3+ years experience working in a safety role, FSE or Equipment Technician  Manufacturing/Lab/Plant/Cleanroom safety experience  (working in a manufacturing cleanroom)OSHA Safety Certifications / Safety Classes / COHE/LOTOExperience creating safety reports and presentingFab/manufacturing plant  - walking around the facility in a pressure controlled environmentWorking with or experience handling hazardous materialsPhysical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
