If you're passionate about driving EHS excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply!_** **Schedule:** M-F 8a-4:30p **Salary:** 75K-80K (depending on experience) **Location:** Ashtabula, OH **Key Responsibilities:** + Partner with leadership and staff to cultivate a proactive and collaborative safety culture. + Design, implement, and refine environmental health and safety programs to align with corporate objectives and industry regulations. + Track and interpret relevant environmental, health, and safety laws; ensure timely adjustments to company practices as regulations evolve. + Lead incident investigations involving safety, health, or environmental events; perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions. + Conduct regular workplace assessments and compliance audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards or risks. + Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations. + Deliver training programs to ensure employee understanding of EHS policies. + Collaborate with teams across operations, engineering, and maintenance to integrate safety considerations into daily tasks and long-term projects. + Maintain accurate EHS documentation and generate reports related to audits. + Stay current on EHS trends, technologies, and best practices. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline. + Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. + Experience supporting ISO 9001/14001 audits. + Familiarity with Corrective Action Reports (CARs), root-cause analysis, PSM, risk assessment and safety audits. **_***This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
