Responsabilidades 1. Legal Compliance 30% · Serve as change agent within the facility to develop, rollout, manage and maintain EHS programs to meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements · Keep the organization updated regarding compliance with the legislation, as well as provide guidelines and support for decision making concerning risks and changes · Supports team to ensure compliance implementation and sustaining 2. EHS Initiatives (long-term planning | Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Programs) 40% · Identifies long and short-term objectives to support the Plant goals · Tactical strategies planning, rollout, manage and maintain EHS initiatives to drive execution and conformity with the goals · Leads change of systems/processes as required, ensuring application, and sustaining · Proactively works with management team to identify, address, and eliminate obstacles 3. Training & CI (training, preparation, schedule management) 20% · Identifies training needs (behavior / tools / methodology) and provide resources to ensure completion · Schedules training and/or kaizen events / Projects with the plant team · Prioritize areas of focus/topics for the teams with the Plant Steering Committee · Proactively communicates the direction of initiatives to all plant associates · Contributes to and supports plant cost saving initiatives · Supports team to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained 4. Data Analytics and Sustainability 10% · Communicates results to all internal and external customers and forums · Examines and evaluates progress after new or improvement implementation · KPI maintenance including tracking plant-level metric results and documents reviewing new procedures/controls, and partnering with leadership on issue resolution · Participation in staff meetings to provide updates to the management team and plant associates · Engage in community of practices, promoting and sharing best practices with global peers Requisitos Experience (required): · 7+ years’ experience in handling EHS initiatives throughout the organization · 2+ years in leadership positions · Knowledge and interpretation of labor and social regulations (conventions and standards) · Experience in leading and facilitating workshops/improvement activities in a manufacturing environment · Experience in sustainability projects with proven implementation Experience (preferred): · Skilled in industry-related operations · Knowledge in international work safety standards (ISO 45001, 31000, 14000, OSHA, RULA, NIOSH) Education (required): · Degree in Engineering or Business with complementary certifications · Accreditation for Technical Responsibility Note Education (preferred): · Complementary certifications related to environmental, safety and health Language (required): · Fluent English #LI-ML1
