EHS Superintendent

Strategic responsible at TF for leading, standardize, improve and take key decisions in environmental, health and safety activities that support the company’s objective to prevent pollution, injuries, and illness, within its operations, and to align with all applicable legal and corporate requirements consistent with International, Federal, State and Local regulations, giving to crafting a positive EHS culture and value proposition across the site.
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Coordinate EHS activities and develop site-specific programs targeting safety culture change through implementation of standard methodologies. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal and external EHS requirements, keeping current with impending legislation ensuring that internal collaborators are informed and made aware of the potential impact(s). Support a common approach to the collection and reporting of EHS metrics; prepare reports for management on trends and improvement actions. Elaboration standards and procedures aimed at the incidents and pollution prevention and control. Hold EHS reviews with site leaders to review problems/risk areas/concerns which may affect the overall EHS conditions within the facility. Respond and coordinate emergency plans and programs through drills, maps, and other means. In charge of the Radiologic Safety. Define, conduct, coordinate or be responsible for EHS training Represent the company during EHS audits by government agencies. Review and maintain the compliance in the generation, storage, handling and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste Provide safety & environmental expertise for new or modified processes to ensure that environmental impacts are considered and appropriate controls are established to eliminate or reduce risks. Compile, analyze and keeping records, statistics and documents of HSE Coordinate, oversee and scrutinize accident / incident reporting with complete coverage through photos, videos and comprehensive narrative or other means. Ensure improvement in adverse working habits, employee performance, maintain improved performance, and follow up actions to solve EHS related problems.

  For This Role, You Will Need: Proven ability in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental field, as key team worker.  Proven experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety regulations.  Comprehension of International, National, State, Local & Emerson EHS requirements.
