The Corporate EHS Training Manager position is responsible for the development, implementation, and sustainment of EHS training programs to ensure the safety of all employees, visitors and contractors, protect the environment, and maintain compliance with all global and local regulations for our multiple domestic locations and multiple non-US sites. The Corporate EHS Training Manager will actively engage and involve employees at all levels of the organization to drive a safety culture characterized by accountability, commitment, and teamwork.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Develop, deliver, and manage structured EHS regulatory and developmental training program in support of the company’s training plan, objectives, and vision. Implement training programs both in person and via virtual training modules. Knowledge of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) philosophy with the ability to develop training that aligns with HOP principles, Create hands-on, innovative training programs that can be deployed across all manufacturing facilities, with the ability to work with individual locations for site-specific materials. Develop and implement various soft skills training modules for all levels of the organization. Update materials as dictated by changes in regulations and/or programs. Perform administrative duties to track completion of training, scheduling of classes and resources, compile and prepare statistical information on training program status and completion. Work in conjunction with both Corporate and Plant EHS teams, as well as other functional areas of company, in the development and execution of training. Provide support as needed to Corporate EHS Department. Excellent “soft skills” in communicating effectively with all levels of the organization. Effective in influencing change across functional and demographic boundaries. Related post-education training, certifications such as CIH, CSP, CPEA, or CHMM preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Willing to travel up to 50%. This is a home-based position. \nBenefits
