Job Title: EIC Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a tenured EIC Engineer to join our team and manage the electrical design, instrumentation selection, and control design for a variety of projects. This role requires professional stamping, managing subcontractors and vendors, and working alongside project engineers and managers. This role would be directly involved with our industrial equipment packaging group for a variety of modular skids, assisting the mining and wastewater treatment sectors. The majority of drawings are templates, but some new projects may require drawing from scratch. While no programming or troubleshooting is needed, familiarity with EPC structure and functions is essential. Some travel within Western Canada may be required as a backup.

ResponsibilitiesManage electrical design, instrumentation selection, and control design.Stamp necessary documents.Oversee subcontractors and vendors.Create new project drawings as required.Work closely with project engineers and managers.Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a professional engineer.6+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.Comfortable with professional stamping.Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.P.Eng certification required.Experience with low voltage (sub 1000).Experience with pumps, motors, valves, and process fluids.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Allen-Bradley and CompactLogix.Familiarity with EPC functions and structure.Experience with Delta V system design.References to confirm technical knowledge.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $67.30
