EIC Reliability & Measurement Advisor

We’re hiring an electrical instrumentation and controls advisor to help our Reliability and Measurement team in the Canadian Pipelines Operations (CPO) improve safety, environmental and economic performance, and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Five years of engineering experience in an industrial settingA bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Process Control, Instrumentation)Familiarity with process control engineering, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Key Accountabilities:

Provide reliability and engineering support in electrical, instrumentation, controls, and measurement systemsDevelop, maintain, and advise the development of measurement standardsUse reliability engineering principles and tools to develop and implement electrical, instrumentation, control system, and measurement asset strategies with the objective of minimizing risks and reducing long term cost of asset ownership.Manage change for scaled engineered changesProvide technical support to the operations support teamProvide repair, testing, troubleshooting for complex equipment problemsMonitor conditions and identify bad actors

You will work out of our Sherwood Park locationHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to FridayThis position is safety sensitiveThis position is security sensitive which requires you to clear a criminal history checkOur engineering roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
