Job Description:

Job Description:  Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.

Supports the functionality and efficiency of the Tasking Management Tool (TMT), acting as the Tasking Management Tool (TMT) liaison between USAFE/AFAFRICA end-users and remote TMT Tier 1 & 2 Help Desk support, as required.

Provides on-site TMT Deskside support, as required.

Creates and maintains dashboards and user views to provide appropriate data visibility.

Provides end-user training on new dashboards as necessary.

Creates customized reports, based on mission needs and administrator-selected attributes/thresholds, to control how and when reports are generated.

Ensures appropriate interaction with Senior Leaders and their staff(s).

Offers TMT classroom beginner, advanced and train-the-trainer training classes.

Manages TMT training delivery – configuring end users, classroom scheduling, registration, and training material distribution, as required.

Advises and assists with Business process automation.

Collaborates on business rules and SOP development.

Advises and assists with Strategic Communications.

Develops organization-specific cheat sheets, one-pagers and How-to Guides.

Provides technical support to other work center technologies some of which include system administration and database administration.

Provides TMT refresher training, as required.

Certifications:

Required Experience: This position requires a minimum of three years experience, of which at least three years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking and mail standards and work on a help desk. General experience includes information systems development and other work in the client/server field, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics or business/finance.

Additional Requirements: Candidate must meet TESA requirements as follows:

Germany:

·        A Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of recent specialized experience; or

·        Associates Degree and seven (7) years of recent specialized experience; or

·        No degree and 11 years or recent specialized experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
