Under supervision performs electrocardiographic exams using a variety of ECG equipment and procedures. Performs stress testing using both exercise and pharmacologic modalities. Performs transcription of all dictated ECG interpretations. Assists in maintaining patient information/billing logs and electronic databases. Assists ECG Dept supervisor in carrying out transfers/merges within electronic storage database. Is able to research electronic and written medical record to abstract data in order to obtain correct diagnosis information and assign appropriate ICD10 codes to charges. Is able to research electronic and written medical record and ensure symptom documentation for ICD10 codes used. Performs charge reconciliation and correction in order to ensure correct patient billing. Utilizes knowledge of ECG interpretation to facilitate Transcription and QI process.

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Patient care experience in an acute care setting. Experience in operating standard office equipment.Preferred Qualifications:
