Summary of Position
 

The eLearning Developer will play an essential role in the on-going learning and development of employees within the organization. The Sales Trainer will be heavily responsible for the development of pedagogically sound eLearning materials in accordance with designed storyboards, department standards, and directives. They will also assist the Lead Designer in the design of interactivities. The eLearning Developer will report directly to the CEGTE eLearning Manager

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Lead Designer and eLearning Manager, review current educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curriculaSupport eLearning material management by updating project trackers and collaborating with organization SMEs and training teamCollaborate with other eLearning professionals (internal or external) to support eLearning content requirementsDevelop supporting materials and media (audio, video, photos, graphics, etc.) for courses based on curriculum guidelines or information provided by or in consultation with subject matter experts, the Senior Sales Trainer, or eLearning ManagerConduct quality assurance on all eLearning materialsPerforms other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred1-3 years’ experience in a training role/functionFluent in EnglishStrong proficiency in development stages of the ADDIE modelStrong lesson and curriculum planning skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to interface effectively with SMEsStrong attention to detailMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing shifting prioritiesStrong proficiency with Articulate Storyline and RiseExperience with xAPI coding preferredAbility to learn new authoring tools quicklyExperience using remote conferencing tools such as Teams, WebEx, Adobe, etc.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office productsProficiency with various multimedia hardware and software (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
