Job Description/Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skillsIdentify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skillsConduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocolsCollaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programsAssist in the installation and commissioning of new equipmentMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logsAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications/Requirements 2+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience requiredCompletion of at least one of the following degrees: Industrial Electrician, Industrial Maintenance Electrical Mechanic, Automated Industrial Technician, or similar degreeCompletion of courses in Basic Electricity, National Electrical Code, Electrical Motor Controls I, Electrical Motor Control Lab I, Basic Blueprint Reading, Electrical Motor Control II, Electrical Motor Control Lab II, Programmable Logic Controllers, and/or Programmable Logic Control LabSuccessful completion of Electrical CapstoneAbility to work afternoon or night shift for the foreseeable future and weekend overtime (as needed)Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issuesExperience working in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations Min USD $36.28/Hr.
