Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electric/Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing intricate electrical and mechanical systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the innovation, sustainment and modernization of our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Performs a wide variety of complex technical duties including diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair or replacement of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of production operations and electromechanical systems.
+ Will work on a wide variety of complex systems such as robotics, CNC machines, high purity PCB cleaning equipment, optical tools, thermal chambers, vacuum pumps, lathes and mills, PLC, automated PCB printing and soldering machines.
+ Prioritize health and safety by adhering strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
+ Executes electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotic, and SAP/Microsoft program-related maintenance and installation projects.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotic, and SAP/Microsoft program system issues. Must be able to read diagrams and schematics.
+ Prioritize health and safety by adhering strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
+ Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
+ Implement and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics, and manufacturing equipment. Document maintenance activities on CMMS and Microsoft program systems.
+ Respond to equipment failures and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
Basic Qualifications
+ Minimum of 5 years of electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotic, manufacturing equipment, and SAP/Microsoft program systems, including motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial robotics, PLC programming, CMMS/Microsoft program applications, and various manufacturing equipment.
+ Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Commitment to safety and a strong safety record, including OSHA certification.
+ Must be comfortable with periodically working in a cleanroom environment following all PPE, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Safety protocols.
+ Proficient in the use of hand tools and test equipment. Experience in testing and troubleshooting equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes, AC & DC power supplies, programming PLC's.
+ Requires a high school diploma or equivalent technical certification and 10+ years of experience.
+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in a Variety of Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Including motors, pumps, PLC controls, ESD and Clean Room procedures.
+ Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical issues.
+ Associate’s degree in technical field is a plus.
+ Licenses/Certifications: Valid electrician's license, OSHA certification, and other relevant certifications a plus.
+ Welding/brazing/soldering skills, light plumbing, and/or HVAC certification/industrial gases are a plus.
