Osmose is currently seeking an Electric Underground Foreman responsible for performing inspection of underground electrical service boxes and manhole structures. Conduct minor repairs on low voltage secondary including shrink caps, tape repairs, packing service ducts and installing barriers.
Responsibilities Promote and enforce safety by conducting job briefings at each location, attend weekly safety meeting to ensure safe work practices are followed, monitoring and maintaining tool condition. Maintain good customer and public relations by maintaining a professional appearance, being courteous, and communicating in a clear, respectful manner. Effectively manage daily work around parking restrictions, schedules, etc. Properly maintain all vehicles, equipment, and tools used by the crew. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Basic proficiency with computers including the ability to read, interpret and follow circut maps, blue prints, etc. Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and have the desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must be able to work underground in tight spaces such as manholes and service boxes.
