SUMMARY
Take the major responsibility for Electrical Analysis (EA) for signal/power integrity test for Server and Storage projects. Follow up standard process to execute related signal power signal testing and report it for review. Also need to support designer for some debug tests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Ø Estimate EA resource and waterfall according to project requirement document and schedule.
Ø Prepare EA test plans according to product architecture.
Ø Execute EA and record data as a formal report for review.
Ø Cooperate with electronics engineers for signal issues & Lab debugging.
Ø Cooperate with system lead and PM for project schedule/issues tracking.
Ø Be responsible for contact window of 3rd party lab if outsourcing needed.
Ø Keep study the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.
Ø Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Ø Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Person Background:
Ø Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and have 3+ years working experience in Server/storage signal test.
Ø Good working knowledge of operation in various signal validation equipment like signal generators, vector network analyzer, TDR, soldering-iron, and oscilloscope etc.
Ø Familiar with PCI Express, DDRx, Clock, SATA, SAS, USB, ethernet and SERDES etc. standard industry specification
Ø Good English writing and reading is a must and listening and speaking is a plus
