CSL is excited to offer ongoing career opportunities for multiple Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians who are passionate about maintenance excellence and driven to support healthcare innovation.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, performing preventive maintenance, and providing breakdown support for instrumentation and electrical equipment.

We currently have 4 roles available with multiple available shift patterns:

Monday to Friday day shift 7:00 ~ 15:40 a 9 day fortnight and includes an RDO, paid overtime and on call-allowance for any shutdowns/breakdowns required outside of your roster cycle.12 hour rotating shifts 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off. 5:45~17:45 – 17:45~5:45, paid overtime and on-call allowance for any shutdowns/breakdowns required outside of your roster cycle.

Your Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Electrical Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation, playing a key role in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining our critical equipmentTake pride in performing preventative maintenance and problem-solving, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our instrumentation and control equipmentContribute to equipment shutdowns, isolations, and test runs while ensuring compliance with safety standards and pharmaceutical quality requirements.Make a difference by reporting and addressing non-compliance conditions, abnormalities, and maintenance challenges, thereby directly impacting our product quality and patient safetySupport and mentor team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Your Experience

You are a qualified Dual trade Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, single electrical or instrumentation qualification will also be consideredYou have a good understanding of calibration methods and experience in conducting investigations into non-conformance will help maintain our commitment to qualityYou are able to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Electrical schematics and control diagrams to maintain, troubleshoot and ensure the safety of our systemsYou are experienced working within a Permit to Work system and using Safe Work Method Statements, JSA’s and Take5’s to ensure a secure and compliant working environmentExperience in a pharmaceutical, FMCG or chemical production environment (or similar process plant) in the maintenance/servicing of industrial control panels , including PLC control systems desirable

Desirable: Experience in EEHA certification, HV switching, PLC, SCADA or DCS systems and knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement principles
