Roles and Responsibilities
Design in 2D or 3D and produce deliverables associated to the engineering discipline’s scope of work ELECTRICAL ARRANGEMENT which mainly covers General Electrical layouts, Electrical Equipment and Cableway Arrangement, Civil Guide activities and Cable Itinerary routing.Coordinates electrical arrangement interfaces for the GE product integration (GT, ST, Generator, HRSG, etc...) into the plant considering external interfaces (Customer, Consortium Partners, subcontractors, etc...).Involves coordination with the Customer, project management, other project functions, engineering disciplines, product lines, commercial operations (if applicable), Architectural/ Engineering Service providers and Partners. Responsible for the design and the deliverable production of related Electrical Arrangement engineering activities. Shall ensure that deliverables are on time, on quality and on budget. Deliverables need to be compliant with GE rules, Customer contract requirements and EHS standards allowing safe construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Supports Tender Engineering on request. If required, assist the Lead Engineer Arrangement during the technical hand-over for his/her assigned scope from ITO to OTR team. Reviews contractual requirements (Customer specifications, codes and standards for the design). Provides input to the Lead Engineer Arrangement for decision making. Applies and respects the project time schedule for the deliverables in her/his scope of responsibilities. Assist the Plant Integration Leads (PACE) for schedule reporting and follow up to meet OTD (On Time Delivery) targets and on Claim / Change management to the scope.Participates on Design Reviews (DR) to evaluate the design and ensure that concepts are based on valid fundamentals.Visit Project sites as and when need arises to have seamless collaboration between engineering and Site.Demonstrate Continuous Improvement and read across lessons learnt.Required Qualifications
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).Desired Characteristics
