PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


To provide 2nd line electrical maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, to execute planned, corrective, break-in work, condition based and predictive maintenance as well as to perform fault-finding and a structured break down analysis on failed components.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

 

N3 Industrial Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical (Trade Test Certificate) with a minimum of 3 years electrical industrial experience (FMCG experience will be an added advantage) Experience in PLC, especially in Siemens S7 fault finding, reading electrical and basic mechanical drawings, process engineering, frequency drives, servo motors and induction motors
 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Prepared and execute planned maintenance activities Provided 2nd line electrical breakdown support to the packaging lines, ensuring optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults effectively. Maintain health and safety standards Complete documentation/work orders and do proper record keeping of all improvements and modifications made on equipment Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions Train, guide, and mentor operators and electrical apprentices to enhance technical knowledge and skills
