Job Description
Candidates will be working on the production floor in the SMT Assembly department. They will execute a range of repetitive and unique production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables.
ResponsibilitiesExecute a range of repetitive and unique production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables.Use manual and semi-automated tools, such as drivers, wrenches, and soldering guns, to assemble electronic and mechanical components.Work collaboratively with a team to integrate components into larger assemblies.Keep the work area clean and organized to support manufacturing activities.Conduct quality checks during the assembly process.Perform rework and repairs when necessary.Handle other related tasks as assigned.Interpret engineering drawings.Possess basic computer skills, including typing, mouse usage, and data entry.Be a cooperative team member, ready to assist the production team in completing tasks.Be adaptable and eager to learn new processes and products.Perform surface mount and thru-hole soldering for components according to industry standards.Be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory processes as required.Spend 50% of the day performing rework and the other 50% on SMT assembly.Use soldering irons and heat guns.Additional Skills & QualificationsMicroscope assembly experience.Hand soldering on SMT components.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.Proficiency with hand tools.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
