Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** Candidates will be working on the production floor in the SMT Assembly department. Their duties and responsibilities will include performing a variety of repetitive and unique production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, such as modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables. **Responsibilities** + Execute a range of repetitive and unique production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables. + Use manual and semi-automated tools, such as drivers, wrenches, and soldering guns, to assemble electronic and mechanical components. + Work collaboratively with a team to integrate components into larger assemblies. + Keep the work area clean and organized to support manufacturing activities. + Conduct quality checks during the assembly process. + Perform rework and repairs when necessary. + Handle other related tasks as assigned. + Interpret engineering drawings. + Possess basic computer skills, including typing, mouse usage, and data entry. + Be a cooperative team member, ready to assist the production team in completing tasks. + Be adaptable and eager to learn new processes and products. + Perform surface mount and thru-hole soldering for components according to industry standards. + Be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory processes as required. + Spend 50% of the day performing rework and the other 50% on SMT assembly. + Use soldering irons and heat guns. **Essential Skills** + Microscope assembly experience. + Hand soldering on SMT components. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. + Experience within electronics, mechanical, or electrical assembly. + Experience with hand tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hand soldering on SMT components (must have). + Using a microscope when soldering (must have). + Install, assemble, and perform rework on SMT components. + SMT soldering of components, including ICs with a microscope, solder wire, and soldering iron. + Understand the concept of polarity. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team that values collaboration and continuous learning. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Will be working with small parts and microscopes for the majority of the day. Will be stationed at one location for most of the day but may occasionally be moved around. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
