Electrical Assembler I

**Job Description**
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Assembles electronic components, subassemblies and systems by working from prints, drawings, process routers and verbal instructions.
+ Solders electronic components under microscope such as transformers, capacitors, resistors and other electronic components
+ Verifies results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
+ Assembles chassis and performs mechanical assembly operations
+ Performs electronic assembly operations such as custom cable building, cable assemblies, wire cutting, crimping, and stripping.
+ Participates in and supports continuous improvement activities.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Ability to solder electronic components under microscope.
+ Ability to use small hand tools and complex tooling (i.e. insertion, extraction, wire strippers and crimpers).
+ Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
+ Ability to obtain appropriate workmanship certifications to applicable standards (J-Std Mod 1)

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $34862 - $55778
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
