Job Description
Join our team as an Electrical Assistant Project Manager and play a vital role in supporting the Vice President and Project Managers with various tasks. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the planning and organizing of projects while ensuring that they are completed on schedule and within budget.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and organize projects under the direction of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.Prepare change orders, submittals, and RFIs.Monitor project activities with the onsite team and Superintendent to ensure projects adhere to schedules and budgets.Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of the Project Manager.Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including billing and rental equipment.Maintain a positive relationship with clients.Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve issues related to work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.Identify and proactively manage project risks.Prepare project submittals.Conduct drawing take-offs and estimating.Procure materials and manage preparation of billings.Handle collections and project closeout activities.Forecast requirements, manage budgets, and track expenses.Create and maintain detailed project schedules.Oversee electrical installation, power distribution, and electrical construction.Essential Skills5 years of experience in a relevant field.Strong electrical background.Experience in submittals and change orders.Proficiency in electrical installation of equipment and construction management.Project management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsData center experience is a plus.No degree required.Work Environment
The work environment involves frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally, the role may require working in extreme conditions at construction job sites, which can be noisy. The position involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, potentially including adverse weather conditions. Primarily, the job will be performed in an office setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
