Full-time, Permanent Salary $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience Excellent Benefits package Pension Plan Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities
Design and Manage Electrical Control Systems – Work on control systems that manage building automation, HVAC, and smart factory technology. Project Planning & Execution – Plan, schedule, and oversee projects, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. Commissioning & Troubleshooting – Set up and test new systems, fix issues, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Collaboration & Reporting – Work with facility managers, engineers, and leadership to integrate new technologies and keep everyone updated. Team Leadership – Mentor junior engineers and promote innovation in electrical controls. Electrical Controls Engineer Qualifications Education & Experience – A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) At least 5 years of experience in building automation and control systems. Technical Skills – Knowledge of HVAC control systems, smart factory tech, PLC programming, and networking. Flexibility – Willingness to travel, work overtime, weekends, and sometimes on different shifts. Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks like kneeling, climbing, and using tools.
