Principal Accountabilities
Manufacturing Process ReliabilityMaintain Process and Industry Standards and SpecificationsSafety, Health and EnvironmentEffectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipmentPerform preventative maintenance up to and including Annual PM’sRead and understand mechanical and electrical schematics without issuePossess an extremely strong personal safety philosophy, able to follow all safety policies & procedures, seek out & correct unsafe conditionsComplete complex troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervisionFollow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
High School or GED Equivalent Programming and troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley Be able to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic Be willing to be a part of the Hazmat teamElectrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in the state of Michigan 3 years manufacturing maintenance experienceStrong electrical & mechanical aptitudeAbility to read & interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawingsAbility to read & interpret detail blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, and wiring schematicsAbility to work weekend and off shift hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systemsProgramming and troubleshooting skills with Allen-Bradley Maintenance experience in a food processing environmentAble to effectively use typical test and calibration equipment including, RTD calibrators, digital multi-meters, 4 to 20 ma calibration unit, etcAbility to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls, 120 VAC and 24VDC control circuits
