Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Controls Technician in Lebanon, IN.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As an Electrical Controls Technician you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThis plant-based position is responsible for supporting electrical and controls engineering initiatives.\r\n\tTasks will involve controls programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.\r\n\tSupport the engineering group with automation system troubleshooting in concert with other functions such as new equipment installation support and start-up assistance\r\n\tManagement of all technical automation software.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProven record of working safely in a manufacturing environment.\r\n\tEngineering Degree, Technical school graduate (or equivalent experience) with electrical and control system experience.\r\n\tProven computer and networking skills.\r\n\tPLC, HMI & VFD Programming experience a plus.\r\n\tKnowledge and understanding of electrical standards.\r\n\tKnowledge of power distribution systems in a manufacturing environment.\r\n\tStrong technical skills (mechanical/electrical).\r\n\tDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.\r\n\tAbility and willingness to travel to OEM vendor sites, as needed.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Specific Hardware Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRockwell and Schneider automation products.\r\n\tFamiliarity with networking hardware.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Specific Software Qualifications:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.\r\n\tFamiliarity with Rockwell Automation programming software.\r\n\tCreating and modifying electrical schematics\r\n\tExperience with AutoCAD a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n
