Position Overview: The Electrical Controls Technician is responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical control systems for plant operations. The technician will use a variety of specialty tools and equipment to diagnose, repair, and modify electrical control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems including PLCs, Allen Bradley, and other automation systems.Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective maintenance on electrical control systems.Perform electrical tag-out and safety procedures.Follow electrical and mechanical diagrams for troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.Utilize CMMS to document maintenance and repairs.Maintain and repair roasters, oil systems, nuts, and other related equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs and electrical control systems.Working knowledge of Allen Bradley control systems.Experience with maintenance and repair of food equipment such as roasters and oil systems.Experience with CMMS systems.Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams.Excellent communication and customer service skills.
