Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out the duties of the team, including design, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvementUnderstanding national and international design standards and necessary design toolsEnsuring components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standardsUsing specialized software to analyses magnetic circuits, electro-magnetic fields, insulation strength and verification of electrical adequacy of productsProvide conceptual electrical design, from tender to detailed contract designFollowing non-conformance reports and to ensure to be taking necessary preventive actionsAttend engineering & production reviews to produce error free designs & reliable products, to reduce the cost of non-quality and to insure adequate performance of the unitAnalyzing and respond to customer complaints in a coordination with lead engineers and relevant leadersPreparing the tender and/or contract design, taking in account international rules and national standards, using the appropriate GE standards and tools, relying on material specifications (technical understandings, costs, procurement loop), and manufacturing capabilitiesParticipate to technical customers meetings when needed to provide solutions to the customers in coordination with PTR expertsAnalyzing failures for RCA & corrective actions, preparing analysis reports internally & externallyAware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards, showing exemplary behaviors on EHS Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical, electronic engineeringStrong oral and written communication skills in EnglishTransformers design process experience would be an assetPreferably 1-2 years of design experienceAble to work in Gebze location
