Job Description
Work with customers in the off-highway, marine, and heavy equipment industries on their electrical harness and wire schematic design. Attend introduction client meetings and project touchpoints with internal and external customers. Utilize Solidworks for wire design and Siemens for harness design. Collaborate virtually with the internal team to manage project work, including timelines and deadlines. Occasionally travel to customer sites to view products and work with their engineering team.
ResponsibilitiesWork with customers in the off-highway, marine, and heavy equipment industries on electrical harness and wire schematic design.Attend introduction client meetings and project touchpoints with internal and external customers.Utilize Solidworks for wire design.Utilize Siemens for harness design.Collaborate virtually with the internal team to manage project work, including timelines and deadlines.Occasionally travel to customer sites to view products and work with their engineering team.Essential SkillsBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Associates Degree in Electrical Technology.2+ years of experience with harness design.2+ years of experience with schematic design.Previous independent project management experience.2+ years of experience with Solidworks.Experience with harness design software such as Siemens, Capitol, etc.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical design, schematic, PCB, hardware, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Creo.Ability to manage projects independently.Work Environment
The role is fully remote, with travel up to 20%, averaging one week per quarter. The team consists of 5 engineers and collaborates through Teams meetings internally and externally each week. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
