Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer Intern to join our internship program this summer in Simsbury, CT!
This is an opportunity to gain experience in the electronic hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of circuit card assemblies. This includes hands-on design, analysis, and test of circuit card assemblies, firmware development, technical trade studies, and evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test, and troubleshooting. As an Electronic Design Engineer Intern, you will be exposed to all phases of the product life cycle including requirements definition, concept creation, detailed implementation, test and integration, and product support.
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant fieldKnowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesStrong written and verbal communications skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentMicrosoft Office applications
Preferred skills:
Working knowledge of electrical engineering processesFamiliar with electrical engineering design/analysis toolsSolid Works, MATLAB, Altium Designer experience is a plusExperience with basic laboratory equipment (i.e. DVMs, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
