The Opportunity:

JD: Associate III - Engineering Design 

Key Responsibilities and Performance Indicators

1. Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for systems and components based on project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
2. Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope.
3. Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure electrical systems are efficient, reliable, and safe. This includes power distribution, load calculations, and circuit design.
4. Should be capable of handling New Product Design & Development activity including Product structuring and Release Process.
5. Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, including adherence to SEMI standards for semiconductor equipment.
6. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
7. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction teams, to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
8. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify and procure electrical components, equipment, and materials.
9. Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision.
10. Technically lead and/or executes engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.

Qualification
Required: B.E / MS/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.Production Engineering with all above criteria’s.
Desirable: Engineering or Equivalent with sound knowledge on Design for Excellence principles

Experience
No of years: Experience of 10-12 years in which at least 4-5 years in a manufacturing organization.
Specific experience requirement:
• Should have min 4-5 years hands on experience in a Manufacturing organization.
• 8-10 in years of work experience in a design environment.
• 3+ Years, Experience in semiconductor will be added advantage.

Skill sets
Required:
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, power distribution, and control systems.
• Experience in electrical panel design, cable and harness design using any AutoCAD/ E-plan /Zuken E3S or any other tool.
• Expertise in selecting appropriate electrical switchgear (CB, Fuses, Relays etc.) based on the system requirements, load characteristics & safety regulation.
• Familiarity with local, national, and international electrical standards, including SEMI standards, IEC, NEC, and IEEE.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans, troubleshooting, and validating electrical systems and components.
• Competency in UG NX is a must.
• Good Presentation and Negotiation Skills.
• High level of accuracy in design work, documentation, and compliance checking.
• Understanding of controller Based automation like Digital I/O & Analog I/O.
• Hands on experience in field instrumentation and knowledge about different sensors/ measurement methods.
• Knowledge of communication protocol such as Ethernet, EtherCAT, Serial communication RS232, RS485 & Device Net.
