Electrical Designer – NYC | Hybrid Schedule

We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Designer to lead complex building systems projects across lighting, power, and distribution. You’ll work independently and alongside senior engineers to shape high-performance environments—from concept through delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Own the design of electrical systems using company standards and project-specific logicPerform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and ComCheck lighting complianceCoordinate layouts for advanced electrical rooms and complex systemsApply NEC, NFPA, and energy codes with fluencyLead documentation and attend client-facing meetingsReview shop drawings and provide redlines and mentorship to junior engineersSupport onboarding and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering4+ years of electrical design experience across building typesProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitExpertise in lighting, power, and systems design packagesStrong communication and coordination skillsFamiliarity with EIT or PE certifications (preferred)Ability to mentor and review junior staff

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
