Ardent Services is a leading provider of high quality, power, control, and process automation services performed safely on time and on budget, as well as a premier provider of specialty electrical and instrumentation (E&I) services for process industries throughout the country. **Roles & Responsibilities** + Job duties will be to produce Electrical Load Calculation, Single Line Diagram, and Panel Schedules + Additional duties will be to produce Power and Lighting Plans, Site Lighting / Site Power Plans, Site Photometric Studies, and Lighting Fixture Designs + Electrical design of industrial electrical systems. + Generate detailed Electrical Design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of Electrical Plans for bidding and construction + Prepare Construction Documents in AutoCAD + Utilize Excel tables and formulas to assist in Electrical Load Calculation + Work with design staff and drafters to complete project + AutoCAD + MS Excel + Visual Lighting + The ability to read blueprints + Detail oriented + Ability to work well with other engineers/designers + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. + Code Knowledge + Know and understands NEC (National Electrical Code) + ICC International Codes + Drive deadlines in dynamic and fast-moving environments. + Team players with exceptional interpersonal skills at all organizational levels. + Self-directed, with good initiative and a great multi-tasker **This job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned.
