Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Detailed design of the control drawings for LV, MV and HT projects according to the specifications and customer needs.Detailed engineering design according to the customer specifications and GE Grid Solutions standards.Production of wiring and arrangement drawings for service projects.Identify the electrical components required to complete the project.Analyze and propose a valid and applicable solution.Prepare preliminary drawings for tendering.Present to internal and external customers the documentation necessary for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.Prepare design calculations and technical specifications.Provide technical assistance when writing bids.Answer technical questions from customers and site technicians.Check and approve site reports from our technicians.Provide internal and external training on our equipment and solutions.

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in electrical engineering or any other training deemed equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design.

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of AutoCad, E3.series, as well as Microsoft officeBe able to read and interpret electrical drawings.Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to work in a team.Have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and in a constantly changing environment.Sense of observation, curiosity, ingenuity, and willingness to seek or deepen more specialized technical knowledge.Bilingual (French/English) oral & written.
