You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of vehicle electrical architecture. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about automotive electrification and connectivity, eager to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. **What you´ll do:** 1. **Wiring Harness Design and Program Compliance:** The role involves assisting in the design and layout of complex wiring harnesses, analyzing program requirements, selecting appropriate materials and connectors, and collaborating to ensure compliance with stringent cost, weight, quality, and timing targets, including auditing and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM). 2. **Quality Assurance and Problem-Solving Methodologies:** This includes learning and applying Robustness Engineering Disciplines such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to mitigate design risks, and utilizing Six Sigma and 8D methodologies for process improvement and root cause analysis of quality issues. 3. **Troubleshooting, Validation, and Complexity Management:** Responsibilities extend to gaining exposure to troubleshooting techniques for automotive wiring systems, supporting the validation of EDS designs through testing and simulation activities, and maintaining build-level complexity charts and performing Harness Complexity Analysis. **What you´ll need:** + Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field. + 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening) + Strong analytical and communication skills + Basic understanding of automotive systems and fundamental electrical circuits. + Familiarity with interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. + Basic knowledge of electrical connectors, terminals, and cable assembly techniques. + **Programming Skills:** Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL, as applicable for data analysis or scripting tasks. **Requisition ID** : 50589
