Electrical Drafter IV
Our Client, a Global Power Technology Leader Company, is looking for Electrical Drafter IV for their Fridley, MN/Hybrid location Responsibilities + Prepare detailed drawings of electrical components or drawings diagrams and electrical panel layouts using CREO 7 (or higher). Utilizes knowledge of electrical materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings. Typically has a high school diploma or GED. + Possesses technical skills, including the knowledge of design techniques and blueprint reading for electrical documentation, electrical panel layout, electrical schematic design, PLC I/O drawings.. Education/Experience high school diploma or GED required. Entry level 5 years experience required Responsibility level Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor + Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment + Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to document electrical drawing changes. + Must have minimum 5-8yrs CREO 7 (or higher) Schematic/Cabling experience. + Windchill experience is also required. Requirements + Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required), Team player and detail oriented (Required) + Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models (Typically required) + Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Typically required) + Basic knowledge of relevant computer application, such as CADD CREO 7 (Computer Aided Design and Drafting; Typically required) Top 3 Skills you are looking for: + Cabling and harnessing experience in CREO + Winchill + CREO 7 (or higher) Additional Manager notes + The manager is looking for someone with cabling and harnessing experience in CREO, 5-8 years of CREO 7 (or higher) experience along with Windchill experience to work in this role. + The typical workday will recover change notices from lead designers and work multiple projects. + Once granted access into Windchill it will determine the typical workday.
