Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on detailed design across multiple projects. You will be responsible for starting projects and seeing them through to completion, ensuring that designs align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop conceptual and detailed equipment designs while implementing a structured design review process including peer reviews, simulations, and prototyping.Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth.Design and analyze electrical power distribution systems using advanced software tools, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.Create and maintain life cycle plans, including comprehensive inspection and test programs for equipment management.Follow structured engineering change control procedures, ensuring thorough testing and validation of all changes.Maintain open communication with construction and procurement partners, providing practical solutions that meet project goals and timelines.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide field support and ensure seamless integration of plant design modifications.Essential Skills5-15 years of experience in electrical engineering and design.Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility for technical evaluation.Experience in developing design packages for engineering and construction.Consultant experience, preferably with engineering services or EPC firms.Additional Skills & QualificationsNuclear experience is preferred.Experience with medium or low voltage electrical components in industrial environments.Bruce Power or Ontario Power Generation clearances.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $90.00/hr.
