Job Requirements:
BS degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of experience designing electronic circuits using CAD-based tools
Proven track record of successful product releases into production
Experience designing isolated and non-isolated switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) using discrete components (not just power bricks)
Experience with common-mode and differential-mode power filtering
Experience with active filter and amplifier design
High-side FET drive design experience using monolithic or discrete solutions
Experience working with SMPS, load switches, operational amplifiers, and comparators
Simulation experience with SPICE-based tools (e.g., PSPICE, LTspice or similar)
Experience with either microcontrollers, FPGAs, or embedded processors in power electronics applications
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing power electronics products for spaceflight applications (e.g., spacecraft EPS, power distribution units, DC/DC modules)
Demonstrated experience designing DC/DC converters, switching regulators, and power conditioning circuits using GaN FETs or similar high-efficiency switching devices
GaN FET design experience
Proficiency with OrCAD and Allegro tools for schematic capture and PCB layout
Proficiency with SPICE-based simulation tools for transient and steady-state analysis
Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and grounding/shielding techniques
Experience supporting hardware test, verification, and troubleshooting at bench and subsystem levels

Experience leading electronics design teams throughout the full product lifecycle
Job Responsibilities:
Design, build, and test space-based electronics and power electronics for multiple projects
Prove out designs using simulation, analysis, and engineering calculations
Collaborate with Software, Mechanical, Operations, Systems Engineering, and Program Management to take products from concept through production
Act as engineering team lead on small to medium-sized projects, driving technical execution and design decisions
Serve as a mentor to engineering design team members on power electronics and circuit design best practices
Assist in developing architecture solutions and system-level power electronics concepts in coordination with Systems Engineering and Program Management
Develop and review schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation for power electronics hardware
Support and lead hardware test, verification, and troubleshooting activities at bench, subsystem, and system levels
Support and participate in qualification and acceptance test campaigns including environmental and EMI/EMC testing for spaceflight hardware
