Job Description:
Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometric, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, ducts sizing, writing specifications, etc.Effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedulesAbility to utilize AutoCAD & Revit to complete drawingsCalculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systemsReview local and national codes and perform code analysesDesign and life safety (fire alarm) systemsSelect and design layout of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels emergency generators UPS systems, and power distribution systemsQualifications:
Electrical Engineering Degree5-8 Years of experience doing electrical design for building systems such as power distribution, lighting, electrical panels, Generators... etc. Experience utilizing AutoCAD MEP + RevitExperience doing load calculationSomeone who has experience managing small-medium size projectsWork Environment:
