Electrical EngineerJob and Program Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our KBR Clearfield Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role on the T-38 Speed Brake program or the F-16 Hydrazine program at Hill AFB, Utah.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications, including avionics, power distribution, and control systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and adherence to industry standards. Conduct thorough system analyses, simulations, and tests to validate performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems effectively. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and detailed reports. Participate in design reviews, providing valuable technical insights to enhance system performance. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in aerospace electrical engineering.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret ClearanceMaster’s degree in EngineeringPrior experience in designing and testing aircraft systems, particularly for military aircraft.Advanced skills in using CAD software for detailed design and modelling, such as AutoCAD ElectricalProficiency in interpreting and developing electrical diagrams and harness drawings. Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation techniques. Experience evaluating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components for compliance. Experience with avionics systems and familiarity with government certification processes and aerospace standards.KBR Benefits
