The Maintenance Services Manager is responsible for leading the Site Reliability Program and is focused on the development of effective maintenance strategies which improve the reliability and uptime of the process.
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is to provide in-depth technical support to the Engineering team on all site systems. This ideal candidate will oversee the electrical systems by managing the design, development, and execution. Providing training for front-line technicians, troubleshooting on each system, and detailed root cause analysis of any failures while adhering to New York State regulations and industry standards.Main Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systemsCreate detailed plans and electrical drawings using CAD softwarePerform complex calculations and analysis to ensure project feasibilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplinesConduct site visits and inspections to assess electrical installationsEnsure compliance with New York State electrical codes and regulationsPrepare and maintain technical documentation and reportsTroubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutionsStay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practicesMust be available to respond to emergency situations on short notice and may be required to be on call outside of regular working hoursCore
Subject Matter Expert for all Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation on systems including but not limited to:
Water Systems / Refrigeration / HVAC systemsProcess & Packaging Equipment’sTechnical support and point of contact/escalation. Key decision makers for determining the investment and maintenance plan for the long-term reliability of all assets.Responsible for ensuring performance objectives are aligned with the site master plan.Familiarity with building automation systemsKnowledge of power distribution systems and high-voltage applicationsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesIdentify cost-savings opportunities without compromising quality and reliability of electrical systems.Technical Support
Development of routine maintenance work on all relevant systems supplying the manufacturing areas.Support the Planning and Scheduling of Engineering tasks within area of expertise on electrical systems. Leading root cause or major incident investigations pertaining to electrical failures.Training
Creating, Reviewing, Updating SOPsDevelop and deliver Technical Training (including those on 24/7 shifts) Maintain all regulatory and non-regulatory documentary records, including training folders, equipment logbooks, & calibration recordsPlanning
Ensuring Work Orders have valuable detail for asset historyPartnering with the Maintenance Planner to scope out each job and ensure right first-time execution.Provide advice on critical spare partsContinuous Improvement
Improve gaps identified in the plant electrical system preventative maintenance plan and document in the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).Managing and providing technical support to change controls.Assisting in all aspects of projects, including design work and approvals.Supports capital improvement project work.Support the foundation of an equipment history, using Failure Mode language in all trouble-shooting guides.Health & Safety
Follow the Health & Safety policy and guidelines. Support with the development of Engineering Safety standardsManagerial/Supervisory
An individual contributor with responsibility to design/deliver training and coaching within their area of expertise.Management of third-party contractors to ensure all contract scopes are defined, relevant and reviewed on a regular basis.Qualifications
Physical Requirements
Work is primarily light in nature, with exerting up to 25lbs of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, and walking. Involves sitting, standing, and walking most of the time.
Travel
As required to center sites, up to 10% to Kedrion locations, regional meetings and company sponsored functions including overnight travel.
