Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Designs, develops, and assesses electrical systems and components for building projects.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering (preferred). Proficiency in REVIT and BIM systems. Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform calculations for lighting and power systems, data and IT systems, and equipment selection for building electrical systems. Develop detailed bidding and construction document plans for external clients. Research and specify products, equipment, and systems to meet project expectations. Assess existing systems and recommend refurbishment or replacement as needed. Estimate probable construction costs for electrical designs. Collaborate with designers and drafters to create project deliverables. Calculate energy consumption for electrical systems.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
